CEM continues to offer subsidies for Tariff A customers. Electricity tariffs in the 1st quarter remain stable

Considering its social responsibility and the upmost commitment in maintaining relatively stable tariffs for the Tariff A customers, with Macao SAR Government’s support, CEM decides to maintain the TCA for Tariff A at 36 cents per kWh in the 1st quarter of 2013. Hence, the subsidies for TCA for Tariff A customers are increased from 7 cents to 8 cents per kWh. Tariff A covers 99% of the customers of the total customer base.
For Tariffs B, C and D customers, in accordance with the contractual calculated value, the TCA are at 44 cents per kWh, which is 1 cent per kWh more than the TCA of the 4th quarter of 2012.
