To cope with the Infrastructure Development Office’s tunnel project of COTAI Strip, CEM started the cable trough construction work located at the Estrada do Istmo earlier. With the progress of the project and consultation with the Transport Bureau, CEM will close the zebra crossing intermittently according to the work at Sands Cotai Central near The City of Dreams during the period between 15 May and 9 Jun 2013, from 8:00pm until 8:00am. During the above mentioned period, citizens may across the road by using other pedestrian crossing facilities according to the site conditions.

During the construction period, CEM would like to remind the drivers and pedestrians to be cautious about the road conditions and follow the temporary traffic signs and indicators. The Company would appreciate the public’s understanding for the inconveniences which may cause by the work.

CEM has always worked closely and held regular meetings to coordinate the excavation works with the relevant government departments and other public utilities, ensuring that the excavation works are not carried out repeatedly within a short span of time. In addition, CEM strives to minimize the impact caused by the duration and scope of road works on citizens
