Result Announcement of CEM Mobile App Game Concept Design Contest
31 July 2013, Macau
With the objective to encourage the public and students to learn about electricity saving and safety, CEM partnered with Macao Computer Society to hold “CEM Mobile App Game Design Contest”. The response to the contest was overwhelming.
The judging panel of the contest was consisted of Macao Computer Society President Adam Iao, Macao Computer Society Directors Foggy Wan and Chan Kin Tung, CEM Information Systems Department Senior Manager Denis Chan and Communications and Public Affairs Office Manager Jaclyn Iun. The judging was based on five criteria: creativity, amusement, education value, feasibility and aesthetics. The judges expressed that some of the entries were considered in high standard which had exceeded their expectations, thus making the decision harder. The result has finally come out after a meticulous and deliberate discussion.
Entrants were divided into Open Group and Student Group. Each group has Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up. Open Group winners are: Champion, Kuok Ka Keong; 1st runner-up, Leong Pui I; 2nd runner-up, Zhou Yingsi. Each winner will receive MOP5,000, MOP3,000 and MOP2,000 respectively. Student Group winners are: Champion, Chan Io Kei; 1st runner-up: Chong Hio Ian; 2nd runner-up: Fong Hok Kin. They will receive MOP3,000, MOP2,000 and MOP1,000 respectively.
