The 20th Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau Power Industry Services Seminar to be hosted by CEM and the first preparatory meeting held in Macau

The Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau Power Industry Services Seminar, is co-organized by Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM), Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd (GPG) and CLP Holdings Limited (CLP), has been playing an important role in promoting the development of power companies in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau as well as maintaining close cooperation in the three regions. The Seminar is held annually by turns in the three regions. This year, marking the Seminar’s 20th anniversary, will be hosted by CEM. The first preparatory meeting was held today at the Macau Plaza Restaurant. Representatives from the three companies attended the meeting to have an in-depth discussion on the arrangement and details of the Seminar in order to perfect the whole organization, letting each delegate achieve fruitful results. The Seminar will be held in Macau in November.
Iun Iok Meng, Advisor of CEM Executive Committee said that CEM is pleased to host the 20th Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau Power Industry Services Seminar. During the past 20 years, the Seminar drives power industries in the three regions to move forward and share experiences and technologies with one another. The Seminar plays a crucial role in providing stable and high quality electricity to Macau citizens. 20th anniversary is a milestone in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau’s power history, manifesting CEM’s close relationships with its counterparts in the three regions as well as CEM’s efforts in strengthening communication with neighbouring districts to improve the power supply service quality in Macau. He hoped that the Seminar would continue to move the power industry ahead, and create a better living environment for citizens in the three regions.
