As the Chinese New Year is approaching, Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM) wishes all Macao citizens good fortune and every success in the coming Year of the Rabbit.

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, CEM specially presents exquisite Laisee envelopes (20 envelopes a pack) to customers. This year, the pattern printed on CEM’s Laisee envelopes is CEM’s mascot, the lively and lovely “Power boy”, carrying mandarin, which symbolizes great fortune in traditional Chinese custom, to ring in the Year of the Rabbit and wish citizens good luck in the New Year.

Starting from today, customers who apply for any services, settle payment or present the latest electricity bill at CEM’s Customer Service Centers in person are entitled to a pack of Laisee envelopes. Each customer can get one pack every time and the Laisee envelopes are available while stock lasts. CEM points out that its Laisee envelopes feature an eco-friendly open-style seal instead of the self-adhesive one in a bid to encourage citizens to reuse them.

Estrada D. Maria II, Macao; office hours: 9:00am to 5:45pm from Monday to Friday;

Taipa Customer Service Centre at G/F, Lai Chun Kok, Supreme Flower City; office hours: 10:00am to 7:00pm from Monday to Friday.
