Aiming at allowing Macau citizens to have a better understanding of CEM major operations and services and to have a closer look at the local power generation process, CEM Energizing Tour was first launched in 2009, and since then attracted more than 30,000 citizens to visit Coloane Power Station. In 2017 alone, 46 tours were conducted with over 1,400 citizens participated. Tours include a visit to CEM exhibition room featuring “Smart Home”, “Green Energies”, “Green Drive” and “Smart Grid” concepts, plus visitors also site visit to major local generation infrastructures and learn how electricity is generated.

CEM specially set up a lucky draw to encourage the visitors to provide feedback on the Tour. The lucky draw took place recently at CEM Building. The 10 winners are: Lam Chun Hou, Law Siu Sang, Ho Choi Lin, Leong Wing Chi, Po Yuen Lam, Au Ngan Yuk, Pang Hoi Ying, Leong Yiu Tung, Andreia Couto and Fong Hoi Yiu. Each wins one electrical appliances cash coupon of MOP1,000.

In March, a new series of weekday tours will start targeted to groups including schools, associations and companies. Visits will be conducted from 10:00am to 12:00pm (morning session) or 3:00pm to 5:00pm (afternoon session). For enrolment, groups can either call 8393-1206, or email to visitcem@cem-macau.com.
