Closing Ceremony for CEM Integrated Training Program

Organized by Macau Institute of Management (MIM) for CEM, the CEM Integrated Training Program (ITP) 2016/2017 was held from October 2016 to April 2017. The closing ceremony was held at Macau Tower today. Officiating guests included Albano Martins, MIM Board of Directors Member and Benjamin Yue, Principal Advisor to the Executive Committee of CEM. Honorable guests included Catherine Ng and Raymond Bao, MIM Board of Directors Members, Oscar Chan, Director of Macau Institute of Management (MIM) as well as CEM Senior Managers from various departments. Certificates were awarded to 19 trainees during the ceremony for recognizing their efforts devoted in this program.
ITP is a structured management training program targeting at CEM’s young engineers and officers with outstanding performance and management potential to help develop their competencies for future career development. This program has been organized since 2003 with more than 100 employees successfully completed the program. Reaching its 7th term, CEM ITP 2016/2017 offered total nine management related modules, included decision making, problem solving and supervisory skills, service management, financial management, negotiation and presentation skills, performance management and interviewing skills.
Albano Martins stated that the program was specially organized for CEM staff. Through various modules of interactive lectures including self-profiling tools, case studies, role plays, group discussions and experiential learning sessions, ITP helps further discover the management potential that are required for an excellent manager. He expressed that the closing ceremony would be the beginning of the next phase of a life-long learning journey for all participants and wished that they would continue to build on the foundation that they have established through the studies and apply the knowledge at work.
Benjamin Yue expressed his gratitude to MIM, MMA and CEM management for giving support and cooperation in facilitating this program. As well, he showed appreciation towards the great efforts of the program participants and gave congratulations to them in achieving successful completion.
