CEM strives to restore power supply today for customer affected by the floods
Macau, 24 August 2017
After dispatching over hundred engineers and third-party contractors in each district yesterday, at 6am this morning, except about 40,000 customers whose power supply facilities were damaged by the floods, the power supply to all other affected customers has been fully restored, including major public utility users.
CEM is making every effort to repair the power facilities damaged by the floods and strives to restore the power supply to all affected customers today. CEM reminds residential and commercial customers after restoration, please first check whether their power facilities can be operated properly to make sure those facilities can be used in a safe condition. For any question, please refer to professionals.
For the power supply circuits from Mainland to Macau, the power supply was basically resumed at 9am after relevant technicians’ overnight repair.
