CEM Ambassadors Team brings love and care to Peng On Tung users on Mid-Autumn Festival
On Mid-Autumn Festival, over 10 CEM Ambassadors have joint hands with Peng On Tung Tele-assistance Services’ volunteers to pay visits to the elderly who live alone as well as some underprivileged families on 4 October, in a bid to show their care and concern during this festive season.
On that day, CEM staff members and Peng On Tung volunteers were divided into nine groups to visit 18 elders and underprivileged families living in the Toi San area. During their visit, they spoke to the elders, listened to their needs and offered care and love to them, putting a big smile on their face. Besides, CEM staff has viewed the safety condition of the household electrical installations. If there was any need to do the replacement of the old electrical installations, CEM Ambassadors recorded it and referred the case to relevant colleagues of the “CEM Community Program” for follow-up. At the end of the visits, CEM Ambassadors gave out gift packs to each family and wished them healthy, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
Iun Iok Meng, Advisor to CEM Executive Committee and Cecilia Nip, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Communications Office Senior Manager also joined the activity alongside CEM Ambassadors.
CEM Ambassadors have always been dedicating themselves to participating in charitable and community activities, as well as caring about those in need, with full support and recognition of CEM management. The Ambassadors participating in the aforesaid activity stated that the activity was very meaningful, hoping that everyone could enjoy this festive season with the union of the family.
