To alleviate the impact of Macao’s high rate of inflation on people’s livelihoods, particularly the impact of a lifting Tariff Clause Adjustment (TCA) to the residential and small & medium enterprises customers, CEM decided to keep the TCA for the 4th quarter unchanged and to continue to subsidize three cents of TCA for Tariff A (covering 99% of the customers), i.e., to reduce the TCA from 35 cents to 32 cents per kWh. TCA of Tariffs B, C and D remains at 35 cents per kWh.
