Affected by the increase of the RMB exchange rate leading to a rise of electricity prices, in accordance with the circulation method stated in the concession contract, the Tariff Clause Adjustment (TCA) in the second quarter of 2021 for CEM’s Tariff Group A, B, and C customers will be at 35 cents per kWh, an increase of 6 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter. This is also the first increase since the first quarter of 2020.

CEM will continue to provide a reasonable electricity tariff and reliable power supply services to Macau citizens through flexibly selecting the best energy mix.
