To celebrate the 50^th anniversary of CEM and encourage the public to lead a green life, Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM) will hold the first "Eco Market x Mundane Cosplay Contest" from 11am to 7pm on 23 October (Sunday) at the Garden of Albergue SCM. Participating citizens will stand a chance to win an AirPods Pro. 

Participating merchants of the Eco Market include AS Organic Life, Concept H, Fillgood, Insterstore, The Etulutus, The Blissful Carrot and Lasteen Coffee. The Eco Market offers a wide variety of eco-friendly products, such as organic and energy vegetarian foods, natural skincare products, natural essential oils, hand-made soaps, food items without packaging, eco-friendly household items, dried flowers, second-hand clothing, boutique coffee as well as Halloween-themed products. In addition, the Oxfam in Macau, the Green Future and Pui Ching Volunteer Team will be invited to hold various green workshops to teach citizens how to sort plastics, upcycle plastic bottles into little flowerpots, and make DIY natural body scrub with coffee grounds. The Fuhong Society of Macau will hold a charity sale, while the venue will be supported by Albergue SCM. As a move to spread public awareness of the meaning of this event, on the day of the event, CEM calls on citizens to join the lucky draw by uploading related photos to the comment section of the Eco Market post on CEM Facebook page. Three lucky winners will be awarded AirPods Pro to drum up the citizens’ interest in green lifestyle. 

To celebrate the Halloween, CEM will hold Macau’s first “Mundane Halloween” Cosplay Contest at the Eco Market, with prizes including iPad mini 6 and muscle massage gun. The “Mundane Halloween” has been gaining popularity in Japan in recent years, in which participants have to dress as ordinary people in life to bring fun and laughter. More than 40 contestants will be there to show off their creative costumes, including “a marathon athlete rushing to a barbecue party after finishing the race”, “a person who does grocery shopping across the border”, and “a person who is waiting for discounted sushi period”. Citizens can vote for "My Favorite Mundane Cosplayer" on the site between 4pm and 5:15pm and receive an eco-friendly meal box each.
