CEM promotes environmental protection and use of clean energies for secondary school students with exhibition at Macau Science Center

CEM hosted the "Clean Energy City Challenge" aiming to celebrate CEM 50th anniversary and to draw students’ interest in environmental protection and usage of clean energies. The event was co-organized by the Macau Science Center (MSC) and with the technical support of Science & Technology Promotion Association and counted with the participation of more than 300 students of over 50 teams enrolled in representation of 23 local secondary schools.
Top 20 teams from two categories, namely F1-F3 students (Environment & Energy Conservation) and F4-F6 students (Clean Energies & Technology) were selected by a panel of professional judges. Students were then challenged to build a model with projects to be exhibited at MSC from 22 to 30 October. During the exhibition, school teams competed for the final awards with professional judging (70%) and public voting (30%). Near 10,000 public votes were received.
The final results were announced today. The top three winning schools of Category F1-F3 (Environment & Energy Conservation) were:
