National peace and security are the most basic and common desires of the people. CEM organized its staff to visit the National Security Education Exhibition, which was jointly organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau SAR. The group was led by Bernie Leong, Chairman of the Executive Committee.

After visiting the exhibition, Bernie Leong stated that CEM staff always remember that national security is the top priority and work hard to ensure the safe and stable supply of electricity in Macau. As the country enters a new phase of development, the principle of "Macau governed by patriots" has brought a very precious and beneficial situation for the stable development of Macau's economy and society. We must take a comprehensive view of national security and guide all works accordingly, guarantee electricity for Macau's safety and development in all fields, and contribute to the well-being and happiness of Macau residents.

Every year, CEM organizes different teams of employees to visit the National Security Education Exhibition, including management, communication facilitators, Occupational Health and Safety Committee members, first aiders and representatives from various departments, etc. CEM also encourages employees and their families to attend the exhibition to strengthen unity as well as ensure the smooth and lasting implementation of the "One Country, Two Systems" principle.
