Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM) launched the “Pop-up Fun Lab” this year, and recently held it again at the Leisure Area of the Lok Yeong Fa Yuen Building. This event utilized free time after school to ignite the interest of early primary students in science by guiding them through simple and interesting science experiments and games.

The experiments and games in the “Pop-up Fun Lab” were all related to electricity, including “Wireless Power Transmission,” “Save the Little Raccoon,” “Power Generation Station,” “Track Challenge,” and “Levitation.” All of these games were well-received by the students. Under the guidance of professional instructors, they completed the experiments and received flashcards. CEM also prepared a variety of prizes to share the joy with the students. During the event, the public was also provided with everyday tips on electrical safety, energy-saving, and green transportation. The game booths received over 800 visits, making the event enjoyable for people of all ages.

In events such as the “Clean Energy City Challenge” and the “Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction Debating Competition,” we are delighted to see more and more young people demonstrating their care for the environment, interest in science, and confidence in the future.
