Feed-in Tariff
To effectively promote the application of solar PV energy interconnections and encourage investors to install PV systems, the Macau SAR Government, in addition to publishing the “Regulation on Safety and Installation of Photovoltaic Solar Energy Interconnections”, also established a feed-in tariff system (effective as of 1 July, 2018). Details are as follows.
Grade | Installed Capacity of Solar PV System | Current Feed-in Tariff (MOP/kWh) |
I | Below 10 kW | 3.7 |
II | 10 to 100 kW | 3.4 |
III | Over 100 to 500 kW | 3 |
IV | Over 500 kW | 2.8 |
For more information on the regulation, please visit the websites of DSPA and DSSCU.
Important notes:
1. Find qualified electrical technicians to carry out the necessary work.
2. If it is not an interconnected system (independent PV system), please consider adding a battery storage system.
3. Ensure waterproofing is done properly at the installation site.
